All I can say is WOW! Mena has gone brunette! Looking fantastic! October 13th, The Americans for the Arts - The 9th Annual National Arts Awards held a black tie dinner in New York City and honored Mena Suvari with the Young Artist Award for Artist Excellence. Well done Mena! I’ve rounded up some pics from around the web - and I’ll let you know if I find anymore! Small pics can be seen at Wireimage, London Features, Getty Images and Globe Photos.
MGM has put up a teaser site up for Beauty Shop - which includes the teaser trailer (same one featuring Queen Latifah), about the cast, quotes (’My hair misses you Gina!’), wallpapers, screen savers, behind the scenes. It sadly doesn’t say a release date - only 2005. There were 3 images of Mena as ‘Joanne’ on the site which I’ve added the the gallery. Keep an eye out for the full and complete site in the next few months.
Oh WOW! This is such great news for Mena! With the Nasher Sculpture Center celebrating its first anniversary this week, founder Raymond Nasher is off to New York to be toasted by the beau monde for his cultural largesse. On Wednesday, he’ll rub elbows with folks like Caroline Kennedy, David Rockefeller and Arthur Sulzberger Jr. The occasion is the ninth annual presentation of the National Arts Awards by Americans for the Arts, and Mr. Nasher will be the star attraction.
WOW! Another film! Mena is one busy star!
